HELP: How do I update from the 13.0 to the 16.0 version of this module without losing my data?

We're currently in the process of trying to migrate our Odoo installation from 13.0 to 16.0. The 13.0 version of the sale_commission module downloaded from here contains only a single Odoo module, but the 16.0 version here contains 3 separate modules:

• account_commission
• commission
• sale_commission

How do I switch over to the 16.0 version without losing existing data such as my commissions agents and settlements?

If this is not the correct place to ask this question then please let me know where I should go to ask. On the Odoo app store pages linked above there is a link that says "You bought this module and need support? Click here!" but it takes me to a page telling me I haven't purchased the module. The module is free, so this seems like a bug in the Odoo app store. In this repository's README there is also no information regarding how to get support in cases like this. So if an issue like this is not the correct way then please point me in the right direction of who to contact or email or where I can submit a support ticket or however I should proceed.
