Proposal to extend the Product_brand filter to the POS inteface
PROBLEM
In most of the retail shops, products are kept in the warehouse & sold to customers, because of their brand: telephony shop (Samsung, Apple,…), Hosehold appliance shop(AEG, Electrolux, Samsung, Dyson,…), stationary shop (Montblanc, Parker, Waterman,…), watch shop (Tissot, Swatch, Citizen,..),….
When selling a product (Apple phone, Samsung dishwasher), the actual POS category split is NOT very efficent.
Example: A POS category path like /all/hosehold/dishwaser or all/telephony/phones lead to tens of products, and in worst scenario to almost an hundred (eg stationary, watches,…)
the possibility to filter ALSO by brand, could easily reach and highlight the desired product restricting the field to few items, otherwise missed in tens of other similar products.
SOLUTION
The product_brand module, today extend the Sales product search with a "groupby_brand" filter. Could it be possible to ALSO extend the behavior of the POS search product, (in combination with the category filter already present in the POS interface )?
Having a group_by filter by brand, looking for the corresponding item-product in the POS interface to emit the bill, would make things a lot easier and quicker .
