Download icon should provide link to multiple formats

  • download icon redirecting to various formats: obo, owl, ...

Currently the download button directs towards the "master" format of the ontology (as defined by the ontology devs) and then the detail page point to additional options. I like the idea of a little OWL button and a little OBO button directly in the table that would point towards the corresponding files; does that work for you?

Minor point, but might mess with the look and feel if we continue to use free glyphicons

Maybe the download button could open some kind of choice dialog where the format/edition could be selected?

...alternatively the button could be removed, and we could force people to go to the detail page and explore the options

it seems like a good idea to have multiple download options, but if no one has done this in 5 years, maybe there's not high demand for it?

Is this issue duplicated here?: https://github.com/OBOFoundry/OBOFoundry.github.io/issues/2325 I could be reading these issues wrong but they seem to kinda say the same thing, unless there's a different download button
