Similar to mappings, synonyms have a carefully designed metadata model in OBO foundry ontologies. In this tutorial, we will discuss synonym scopes and how to best determine them carefully. It builds on @anitacaron tutorial on Metadata standardisation in November 2023, but focusses more on concrete examples during curation and problem points.
