Update to Python 3

Any plan to update to python 3? I think this would be appropriate considering Python 2.7 becomes depreciated on January 1st 2020

Null and I have talked about this, and I honestly don't think that it will be deprecated considering how many times they've already tried to do it. If you would like to start merging for compatibility to python3 and keep python2 support you can feel free to do it, and have my full support with it as well.

It would be appropriate yes. But it will also take up a lot of time, especially considering all my OSS projects are in Python2.7. We'll be here for a while if i am to translate everything myself. We'll probably get it done at some point, most likely next major release, but until then having a couple of devs to volunteer would be great.
