RSS not downloading

Hi,

Issue I'm having is downloading torrents from private tracker using RSS, when I add the RSS feed it will show the torrents but if I try double click a link it will take me to a error 404 page

Is there a fault or something I need to fix on my side?

it depends on how your private tracker formats the RSS feed -- not all of them prepare the fields as ruTorrent expects them. you should try by selecting one item in your feed, right clicking, clicking "URL info" and seeing what you get as output.

generally speaking:

• the "download URL" is where ruTorrent would like to fetch the torrent file: e.g. right click on the item, then "Load",
• the "description URL" is where ruTorrent would like to bring you to read more about the release: e.g. right click on the item, then "Open in browser".

maybe your tracker does not populate the description field, but you should try and load the items via the right click menu rather than double clicking.

In my case, the description URL and the download URL are switched. ruTorrent tries to download images instead of the actual torrent. Any idea how I could rectify this?
