Find a backup solution

My devices (plural, I have like 10 hosts) store a large amount of data, with currently no viable solution for backups. I would like to figure out a self-hosted backup solution after I am done assembling my home-server, preferably with more storage available than I consume.

As of 89e7f88 we have a S3 backend available. Using restic with a S3 backend may be an option now.

I started backing up stuff regularly and store them in cold storage, closing.

  • BTRFS snapshots are also availabe now
