DFU not working on Samsung Note 5 device

After verifying the pairing code, it hangs at "Starting Bootloader" and never proceeds.

I tested on Samsung Galaxy S7 it doesn't work as well. Exact same issue. However, on Samsung Galaxy S9 it works.
