#5: make it possible to only write mode or color

This is my attempt to tackle #5 :

• you can pass only properties that you want to be changed, characteristics.encoder will fill missing values from a previously set data (maybe reading from device on an init would be a better option?)
• color conversions are in place to preserve a color on mode changes
