Friend's game loads as "DivinityOrigins", get Norbyte extender error DOS2 Help

Hello! Trying to run a modded campaign with a friend but his game loads in as "DivinityOrigins" on the loading screen with or without the extender DLL file in his bin folder. When he does put the DLL file in the bin this message pops up and the game then opens without the script extender. We have tried to reinstall, wipe the game, etc. Nothing really works to be able to make the extender work. Gets "Error 193" ingame btw
