Project is incredibly difficult to compile locally

The project is difficult to locally compile primarily due to the use of the External/ directory. Most of the libraries in there are straight from other git repos but some are from other package sources (it appears a manual copy of a vcpkg x64-windows directory is in there)

There is also no list of the libraries required making manually reconstructing said folder a painful project. Im hoping there can be some documentation added or a reproducible build so that other developers were able to compile this project.

+1 I would have loved to compile and make some additions, but I've wasted too much time trying to get dependencies in
