Cannot authenticate if initial login tab is closed

Describe the bug If the login browser tab is closed Leapp is stuck waiting for login. Stopping and starting session does not relaunch login page.

Leapp Version 0.26.1

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start a session with SSO
  2. Close the browser tab that just opened
  3. Stop the session in Leapp
  4. Start the session in Leapp

Session gets a spinner icon but nothing opens. I think Leapp is still waiting for previous login flow to complete.

Expected behavior New browser tab with SSO opens.

Additional context This will eventually resolve itself but it takes many minutes.

Hi @mwisnicki, thank you for reaching out! Yes, that's a known issue. Right now, the only workaround is to quit and re-open the desktop app; we'll try to include a fix in the next mainteinance release
