Hoe to get icon for this addon

Cannot operate this good addon without its icon. None to be found Yes Have opened customize and all that but no such icon in sight to drag to the toolbar for everyday use.

Please help

1. Install Chrome Store Foxified to Firefox
2. Visit a extension page with Firefox such as - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wikimapper/feiheebgoilmbkaddngcoocjbogfchlb?hl=en
3. Then click "Add to Firefox"

You mean any kind of a Fx extension page >>like going to search addons the picking one out at random then opening that page? What is the effective purpose of that?

This addon allows you to install Chrome addons into Firefox. That's why I gave an example of a chrome extension.

hey, got it to work..in part... once but could not sign-in. but now when open g-chrome the store is no foxified. what to do? And how to sign in for a permanent install? Tks, Jim

For perm install click "Sign and install". Just make an account and sign in at https://addons.mozilla.org - also make sure you aren't in private mode - https://github.com/Noitidart/Chrome-Store-Foxified/issues/36

After installing foxified, I see nothing I can do to continue on nor automatically happens in Firefox. When I open Chrome, the addon store does say add the extension to Firefox on occasion but not every time.

How does all this jive with what you are saying.

How about just giving me that strep by step procedure I asked for so we are always on the same general page. Its almost like the blind leading the blind right now. We are not communicating on the same page each step of the way. Jim

Hello ?? Hello? Hello? You work Saturday, right? The latest is that once opening G-Chrome the chrome store extension window in the right top corner does not say "add to Firefox", so from what I can tell from online sources this Fx addon is malfunctioning.

OK will wait till your back. New news tho. I have 2 PC's, same brand and model. So went to PC1 and tried chrome store foxified there too. No joy! This addon does not work on either pc. Sure is looking like an addon problem> Jim

Here are the steps:

1. With firefox go to foxified addon listing and install it
2. Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions - chrome extensions market
3. Find an extension you want to install in firefox
4. Click the "Add to firefox" button
5. Two routes:

• To install it for just the current browser session, pick "Install as temporary"
• To install perm then click "Permanentely" If you are not logged it will tell you to go login to addons.mozilla.org - click it will open login in new tab - then after logged in go back to that tab and click "Retry". It should sign it and install it into Firefox :)

have been battling this forever. still no luck. get the "add to firefox" button in chrome but then comes the weird stuff:

Hi Jim, Yes excuse that please. My plate is overloaded right now. I am doing a rewrite of Foxified as a webextension though. I hope that will fix things. It will not auto-install addons though, that's a limitation of the webext system.

good. It worked fine before, but after the new multiple choice window, there is no eed to even try. For me nothing works, sadly. manual install of addons is just fine. With me anywway just as long as that s. what does work now for addons? Hope you get it going bud, Jim
