Expanded the explanation of the import process

Open Lunerwalker2 opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

This has stemmed from a few occurrences of people asking about issues with importing the RoadRunner quickstart in the FTC Discord. Most of them are caused by importing the outer folder of the extracted zip, or by not accepting the SDK Licenses. The existing explanation for the process doesn't specifically cover these potential issues.

This is a quick type-up that attempts to expand the steps to prevent a user from repeating one of the mistakes I listed above. I would like to add some images, but I'm not at home right now and I am unable to use Android Studio. If you think that some images would be good, then I can certainly do that later today.

  • Added a warning to not import the outer folder of the extraction
  • Added steps for how to accept the SDK Licenses if needed

I can close it if you want lol, unless it's still useful.
