Probably because of your launch parameters: `Options: {'wined3d', 'nod3d10', 'noesync', 'forcelgadd'}`
`forcelgadd` is set by default for all games.

I can confirm that the game now starts with Proton 5.0-6-rc3 and it works fine so far. Except the gamepad, the game keeps opening the pause menu all the time,...
I'm using the XBOX One S Controller and that behaviour happened with and without Steam Controller API enabled.

@waspennator I'm not, I posted my system info.
For me the game runs perfectly fine with great performance out of the box. Only the already mentioned skipped videos are a problem. Especially that those are telling the story....
