Weird "Q" character on search page

I noticed today that there is a "Q" which comes before "search more than 80 000 packages". Has that always been there and I just haven't noticed it? It seems out of place...

I think this suppose to look like magnifying glass. Probably the font is off there.

Ah that could be it I guess. Usually a magnifying glass's handle doesn't extend into the round 'glass' part though...

@mayl do you want to open PR fix fix yourself? If not could you help with debugging this? From my quick test this seems to work fine in Firefox but does not work in brave. Could you confirm which browser you're using? It seems to be fixable by adding font-family: FreeSerif; to before pseudo element in brave.

hmm, thats interesting - I'm on Firefox as well. Can you share a screenshot of what you see?

I'm happy to try to open a PR, but I have no idea how elm works

Maybe we don't load webfont and it also relies on font being installed on OS?

You sound like you know way more about this than I do. I tried your font-family: FreeSerif; and it worked for me too:
