Google-Walleye unbootable?

After building a mobile nixos image last night from this repo, and flashing it to my walleye, it goes to the "Loading Stage 2" screen, then the screen turns black and doesn't wake up until the power button is pushed, then it says "continuing to stage 2", and yet again goes black. I flashed the boot.img to boot and system.img to system. Have I done something wrong? Or is Walleye known unusable at the moment? (And I merely missed the memo?)

I've seen something similar on the Pixel XL as well. I don't think it's starting X11.

Sorry, this device is now unsupported, as it was being built with the vendor kernel, and not mainline. We are now only handling mainline-adjacent and mainline devices.
