[Feature request] Backup and restore passwords

I'd like to be able to backup and restore the password database that is stored in my Nitrokey so I still have these passwords in the event my device is lost or broken.

for the plain passwords, this can be achieved using a nitropy script I could imagine, and/or some export button in the App2. The OTP secrets on the other side cannot be extracted from the device by design. Would the "regular" credentials be enough for you?

No, but being able to take backups of just the passwords would be better than not having any ability to recover from a lost/broken device.

It wouldn't let me re-gain access to my accounts, so I'd have to back those up in something like KeePassXC before I entered them into a Nitrokey. But the point of putting the passwords into a nitrokey was to get away from a software password manager.

Without the ability to completely recover from a lost/broken device, it makes the Nitrokeys much less useful for password management (though they're still great for FIDO2).
