[feature request] Update existing docstring

Hello, Would it be possible to update an existing docstring? For example, when adding a new argument to a function, adding automatically (or via a suggestion) the corresponding line to this new argument would be super useful, it would avoid having to cut the existing docstring and merge it with a new one. Thanks
