Hi. Just installed the new version and I'm getting the error BIOMETRIC_HARDWARE_NOT_SUPPORTED even though my device (running Android 9) has FACE ID set up?

@greaterking and @exxbrain Ideas? I never use FaceId on Android.

FYI this is a Samsung Galaxy A10 which only seems to have Face Recognition under Biometrics in Settings i.e no Fingerprint option. Also, it's an Ionic 3 application. I'm just trying the isAvailable call.

Perhaps that is the case @richardshergold as this works in the other android models.

Any update on the issue ? as i have tried this plugin with ionic 4 and face ID work fine on android but with ionic 3 it is not working fine on android device only fingerprint is working please provide any assistance. thanks.

Hi All i am getting the following response on infinix HOT 8 android my fingerprint authentication is working fine but if i remove fingerprints and enrolled faceid on device than this is the response.
