note that this isn't all the output just like 2/3 of it. As you can imagine it blows everything else off the screen and is somewhat annoying.

That so weird, I can't reproduce the issue with the same content directly (on mastodon and pleroma):

I see that on your case it's a boost, can you tell we what is the account that is boosting it? (or at least the fediverse software they use?) And what kind of software are you using?

I wasn't able to find that boost again, so I grabbed another one from Terrence, where he boosted himself:
