Feature request: wider columns
Hi, it would be great if the columns could automatically widen to match the size of the browser window. I have a wide display but not very few columns, and it feels like the message content is too squished. MastodonFE seems to also suffer from the same issue, so not sure if this is a technical problem~
I would also really love to see this implemented, and may even try to give it a go with a PR in the next week or two, if nobody else does!

No time until the new year, for me personally! Will start messing with things as soon as I can, though.
As far as I know, no-one is working on this one, PR welcome and appreciated. 🙂
Ideally the default should remain the current behavior (fixed, current size) and we could have some options in the settings to change the size and/or to make it responsive.
Feel free to ask if you need some insights / help to get started.
