This is likely just suggestion for documention.

When I see some interresting tweet, then I want to see the whole thread. When I click on the toot. I get its detail and I see replies, but only from the original author (or maybe from peoples I am subscribed to). I do not see replies of other users.

I just discovered that I click on the date/time and that leads to: https://beta.birdsite.live/users/michalblaha/statuses/1349397167660740613 which is just redirect to https://twitter.com/michalblaha/status/1349397167660740613 which is exactly what I wanted. The other option (on phone) is choose "open the toot in browser" which gets redirected to twitter.

Both ways are fine, but extremely hard to discover. I think this deserves a paragraph somewhere in documentation. Which does not exist yet :) but still....

I hear you, but the issue here is.. it depends on how you're consuming the ActivityPub protocol. Based on your description you're using MastodonUI on a Mastodon instance. But it would be different in Pleroma, Misskey, Pixelfed, or even just any client/alternative front-end for Mastodon itself (most mimics the Mastodon's behavior, but it's not mandatory really).

On my side (ActivityPub), all I do is telling "this post's URL is: https://beta.birdsite.live/users/X/statuses/Y", and indeed I decided to redirect to twitter instead of displaying the tweet as I was doing at first. The way it will be displayed in the various tools presents in the Fediverse isn't really a BirdsiteLIVE issue, and it would even be a bit strange to document those tools here, maybe the documentations of those tools should describe better how to open original statuses.
