how do we get username and password?

I haven't been able to get this working either, I think this repo has been inactive for a few years and it's quite possible the old authentication methods it uses are no longer supported. I'm looking for other options, right now I'm looking into https://github.com/tuttarealstep/PokeGOAPI-PHP if that helps you
