Pen cursor is invisible in the recorded video

Open saschanaz opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

OS: Windows 10 Pen: Wacom Bamboo CTL-460

"Show the mouse cursor in the recording" option does not show the pen cursor in the resulting video. Not much to say, please ask me if you need any further information.

I have a device with touchscreen but no pen.

The visual cue of a touch event such as drag and tap is currently being recorded by the app. Which cursor are you referring to?

Any cursor, or "visual cue" will be okay. Currently this is what I get:

7571663

Oh, indeed there's no visual cue on your recording. I need to investigate a little bit more.

OS: Windows 10 Using Wacom Intuos Pro PTH 451

I can confirm the Issue. Additionally other recording softwares have the same problem. I tried with OBS, Xournal++ native recorder, etc.

I can't replicate, but I have a Wacom Intuos 3 (release date 2004, latest supported driver 2016) I also tried with an n-trig laptop from 2017, I can't replicate there either unless "Show cursor" is disabled in Pen & Windows Ink settings. I wonder if newer devices/drivers are doing something different...
