I use an MQTT server running on an ec2 to connect everything together, can work on like 10 machines at the same time pretty flawlessly, without all the hassle of rsa keys and juggling changing Ips.

Should checkout Sharex It's super great. screenshot app with a ton of integration options.

IMO eventghost kicks the shit out of autohotkey It's not quiet as refined as say node-red, but it can get its hooks into just about anything.
