Bug/RFE: Reevaluate Class Titles
Just noticed my current class title as Priest is [Evangelist] . . . considering that that's explicitly a Christian term (either a preacher trying to convert, or one of the Gospel writers), not very lore-appropriate for FA. Perhaps maybe give the various titles a once-over and see if there's any better terminology to be used?
(Yes, I know this is me quibbling, but ever since I've noticed it it's been bugging me.)

That seems to be a thing that happens 😄
No objection to changing it: but the Greek word refers to the proclamation of an emperor's rule, with the implication that everyone who wants to live will of course be conspicuously happy (and those who aren't conspicuously happy ... well ... let's just say "happiness is mandatory; have a nice day, or face summary execution").
So it's not just Christian; there's a "conversion is highly recommended at this point" vibe that seems very appropriate for an Angband-style priest.

Heh, I'm only familiar with the Christian context and have only ever heard it used as such, and cursory research seemed to back that up; guess I didn't look back far enough.
For posterity, what Wikipedia has to say about the etymology:
"The word evangelist comes from the Koine Greek word εὐανγέλιον (transliterated as euangelion) via Latinised evangelium as used in the canonical titles of the Four Gospels, authored by (or attributed to) Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John (also known as the Four Evangelists). The Greek word εὐαγγέλιον originally meant a reward given to the messenger for good news (εὔ = "good", ἀνγέλλω = "I bring a message"; the word "angel" comes from the same root) and later "good news" itself."
