All in the title, that looks like a cool integration, but seems not active anymore.

It is still working and a good solution to migrate a Nuxt app to Quasar in two steps:

  • use nuxt-quasar with Nuxt.js while rebuiling the UI using Quasar components
  • switch to Quasar CLI once the components are replaced.

Sure, the roadmap lays out more possibilities, but afaics using Quasar with Nuxt for the long term is not recommended, and will always have more potential for issues compared to using Quasar CLI.
