Describe the bug

Searching @user:server.com in the room search won't show messages by that user, only mentions, and there seems to be no obvious alternate way to search messages from a specific user advertised by the UI. This e.g. makes deleting your own messages difficult since there is no obvious way to find them.

To Reproduce

1. Open up any room
2. Click the magnifying search icon
3. Enter somebody's user id, e.g. your own, formatted as @user:server.com
4. Press enter to search. You'll see messages from others with mentions pop up (which seems okay), but no messages from yourself (which seems problematic since there's no UI element or help box stating any other way of doing that search).

Expected behavior

Can easily search for own messages. It could be through a different method, but then the search UI should probably show some sort of note telling me how to do it when I try entering a user id.
