Confirmation Buttons are unintuitive

I had fun implementing them. But it's not immediately obvious how to use them. Just do a JS confirmation dialog instead.

Was thinking about this and instead of a JS popup, could have a button that shows a state change in-place. (Ex: A lock icon unlocking.)
