Cannot enable desktop notification on macOS

I cannot switch the the toggle to turn on desktop notification on macOS Big Sur 11.1. I have allowed notification in google chrome for the app.

I managed to fix this by enabling notifications in site settings.

For discord.com: Go to https://discord.com/channels/@me in a browser and try to flip the Enable Desktop Notifications switch there. It should prompt you; select Allow.

Not sure if allowing both sites is necessary, but doesn't hurt.
