Feature Request: Upmixing 5.1 to 7.1 (PlIIx matrix style)

Hello,

I am not using an AVR, but only the computer to output my audio to the amplifiers.

The only and stubborn downside is that I do not have any Upmixing of 5.1 sources to 7.1. This way my speaker setup is always wrong, either it suits 5.1 OR 7.1.

I did a looong search but could not find any suitable Upmixer, that would do what for instance Dolby PlIIX is doint.

Even a comment would be greatly appreciated.

I use EAPO, tell me if it works for you: Dolby_Digital_5.1_(7.1_augmented)

This actually was my very first approach, which I threw overboard at some point, thinking, I might find a better solution. Well, i didn't and maybe it is really that simple.

Copy: LI=L RI=R Copy: L=L R=R C=C LFE=LFE RL=RL RR=RR SL=RL+0.340RI SR=RR+-0.340LI

is something I can easily do in bruteFIR, wich I am using or one could do in an ffmpeg matrix. I might give it a try again, after all.
