Sync videos to EEG
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I am trying to synchronise videos to the EEG(.trc format by Micromed), but I cannot access the time stamp markers for the videos. On the EEG reviewing software (provided by a hospital), the videos are perfectly synced to EEG, but I cannot find useful information to sync them in Python using the exported .TRC and videos.
Describe the solution you'd like Is there any tool that can extract the video-related information in the MicroMed .trc files?
Describe alternatives you've considered I've tried converting .trc to .edf and edf-plus but found nothing useful.
Hi. In actual neo there is no implementation of reading video time frame . I do not known if the synchro information this is inside th TRc or a separate file. If you have some specification about this we could try to implement it.
Hi @XiaodongGuan If you manage to convert to .edf then you can use the EdfIO in neo to load your data. For representing video time frames the closest object in neo might be an ImageSequence, but there is at the moment only support for the .tiff format for those.
The best solution would probably be to extend the micromedio to also load timestamps of accompanying metadata or even load the video in the ImageSequence object. Feel free to start a PR for this ;)
