Win7, creating or opening a new project results in LemsProcess NoClassDefFoundError

Clicking File > New Project > Ok does not create a new project Clicking File > Load Example Project / Load Detailed Model > Pick any (i.e. CA1PyramidalCell) does not load the project

The console shows the following error:
