Add timeout as a parameter, and use the static timeout as the default value

Having a static timeout does not allow to have multiple clients having different timeouts, providing a parameter value to all clients to override the default timeout would allow for this.

The static timeout is still not working either way. Client is still timing out at exactly 100 seconds even if I set it to 5 minutes or 1 second. This is exactly 5 years later.

It has never been an issue on the time length. This has not been refactored to avoid breaking changes.
