Improvement Request Issuer Plugin Interface: additional parameter certificate-type

Hello, we've started to use Lemur in our internal Cert.mgmt. process. We came across the following problem: There is a box to select certificate type, but that is only used to set several options. The type itself is not passed on to the issuer plugin. Would it be possible to a) pass the contents of the Certificate Type to the issuer plugin b) enable a configuration of possible values A use case is the selection of Standard or EV-Certs with Verisign. regards sirferl

Hi, which box are you referring to? Can you paste a screenshot here?

It is the second options page in the "create certificate" box. In this screen shot it is filled with one of the hard coded options "Server Certificate". When selected, several check boxes are marked. This is not bad or wrong. This contents of the option itself is not passed on to the issuer-plugin. That is the biggest issue at the moment. (When we want order an EV-cert from Digicert we have to patch the issuer plugin).

A nice to have would be configuration of the possible values.
