Support for CloudInit formatted User-Data

There are a few features in CloudInit that would be nice to leverage for packaging and executing UDF. Some things like:

  • gzip compression
  • user-data script: a place for simple shell scripts
  • cloud-config: structured methods using YAML input for things like: -- writing file -- installing keys -- running scripts at particular boot phases
