[Bug]: Always-On Tensorboard create unwanted workspace directories
What happened?
Checked in Windows and easily reproducable:
- Clean up the workspace OT directory for better visualization
- Open OT with a default preset, set always-on Tensorboard off, Workspace is set in General tab to
workspace/run. - Enable always-on Tensorboard, it creates 3 directories under OneTrainer local directory named
workspace/r,workspace/ru,workspace/run - Change the workspace name in OT with still the always-on Tensorboard option on, ex
workspace/thisistheissue.
Not harming anything but annoying.
What did you expect would happen?
Not creating ghost directories when having the always-on Tensorboard option on and defining a new workspace directory in General.

could you have a look @O-J1 ?
Ive tried replicating this and I cannot, can you retry @hyppyhyppo ?
I just did. Enable always-on then set a new workspace name, It will create the ghost directories.
Strange, I followed the above steps exactly.
Steps to reproduce:
- load Chroma 16 GB LoRA preset (probably not necessary, but to have a common baseline)
- Switch on "Always-On-Tensorboard"
- Type in "Workspace Directory"
with each keystroke, Tensorboard is restarted, and a new directory is created.
3. Enable always-on Tensorboard, it creates 3 directories under OneTrainer local directory named `workspace/r`, `workspace/ru`, `workspace/run`
I'm not sure I reproduced exactly the bug that was reported, because here is nothing about typing. But anyway, creating 1 directory per keystroke isn't great either and I guess it has the same root cause.
Don’t worry, already recreated successfully the day after my last comment 2wks ago and discussed in discord. That’s why there’s a linked PR to close it
