This is a good idea, please do this
I did, and it at first seemed fixed, but then it just broke. It kept saying that the connection was unexpectedly closed and giving more errors.
Adding support for currency symbols would be very helpful, and seems like a somewhat small feature to implement. It would be much appreciated if it could be added
