There was one user that had a similar issue when updating 1.0.5 to one of the earlier test builds of 1.0.6, but we were'nt able to comprehend the reason. Deleting app's data or reinstall should be enough (don't forget to export your extras if you'd like to restore your favorites' list after reinstall)

I have tried reinstalling multiple times but the issue keeps reappearing
Define "reinstalling"; did you uninstall NS then install it a new or just installed/updated from the apk again? Also please make sure that clear the app data; I don't know if Samsung/Google use their backup authority to keep and restore data on new installs.

nvm it just randomly fixed itself
- same issue 1.0.5 → 1.0.6
Same issue 1.0.8. Reinstalling, cleaning cash, etc -doesnt help
@PestVargos did you re-sync?
@machiav3lli you mean- ovveride repo and other private settings? yes, couple of hours and repo list empty again. If you mean press sync button - it doesnt work at all
Ok let's go over couple of questions:
- Where did you install NS from (Github/Codeberg/IzzyOnDroid or the F-Droid's team repo)?
- Do you have any (root) apps that could block components of other apps/system?
- Did you try uninstalling (fully) and re-installing? If so, can you describe what you get?
tried to "import and install a list of apps" from a 1.0.5 backup to 1.0.8 on a different phone. no status or error msg, just wiped the list of repositories (none enabled or disabled, just an empty list). had the same result after upgrading the old phone to 1.0.8 and re-creating the export.
seems that it was busy? but provided no feedback that it was. eventually the repo list was re-populated, and it started installing apps from the imported list. I assume this might have been what happened to anyone who noticed it 'randomly working again'
maybe there could be some feedback when neostore is busy working? I've noticed when I open the app, if I search too soon after opening, the results are blank. then, I assume after the list of available apps has been loaded, results appear instead of saying 'could not find that app'. iirc f-droid and droidify suffer the same problem - no feedback while it's busy loading/refreshing/reloading, and just appears broken, corrupted or to flat out ignore input from the user
I don't know if my issue is the same or not but I'm seeing nothing on ALL tabs. Yes clearing data solves it but eventually comes back so there must be a bug. I was going to open a new issue but this seems related (I still can if the devs want me to)
