Neo Launcher is randomly slow to appear/display

Description

From time to time (after using a CPU/memory-hungry app, maybe?), when I press the Home button, Neo Launcher is noticeably slow to appear.

Expected Behavior

1. Use any application, even resource-hungry.
2. Tap the Home button to display the Home screen.
3. The Home screen (with all its icons and widgets) is displayed pretty much instantly.

Actual Behavior

1. Use any application, even resource-hungry.
2. Tap the Home button to display the Home screen.
3. The Home screen appears slowly, in that sequence:

• the screen is cleared. Only the background image is displayed
• the bottom dock icons appear
• the other icons/widget appears
• the whole process takes about 2-3s

Steps to Reproduce

See above. I cannot reproduce the behaviour reliably, but it feels as if Neo Store was killed and had to start up from scratch.

Device and OS

• Device: Samsung Galaxy S9 "starlte"
• Android version: 11
• Launcher version: 0.9.3 from IzzyOnDroid
• Rom: /e/OS 2.0
