Recent button sometimes doesn't work

Description

Sometimes happens that clicking the recents button it does noting. It shows as pressed but nothing. I've tried killing the app with "force stop", but it doesn't solve the problem, I have to reboot to solve it.

Expected Behavior

The recents apps shoud pop up

Actual Behavior

Nothing happens

Steps to Reproduce

  1. press the recents button

Device and OS

  • Device: Pixel 7
  • Android version: 14
  • Launcher version: 0.9.3
  • Rom: N/A

Same issue here on Pixel 7a, appeared after updating to Android 14 (LineageOS 21, specifically)

Also getting this. Both on my pixel 6 pro running stock android and on my xiaomi redmi note 9 pro running lineage os with a nightly build.

I believe it is an android 14 issue.

I experience it on my fairphone 4 with /e/OS too.

I could resolve it by switching to the native launcher and then switching back.
