Graphical bug on status bar
There's a white translucent effect near the status bar, which only goes away if you hide the status bar entirely, and comes back with it enabled. No other settings I could think of had any effect.
Expected Behavior
Graphical bug shouldn't be there
Actual Behavior
Graphical bug is there
Steps to Reproduce
One screenshot is of the stock oneplus launcher, the other is of neo launcher, with nothing else changed.
Device and OS
Device: Oneplus 7T Pro Android 11 Launcher 0.9.3 ROM: Oxygen OS 11.0.9.1.HD01AA (stock)
Now that I've taken pictures of it, it seems to be an issue with how the launcher displays the wallpaper, as it doesn't show nearly as distorted in pictures as it does on the physical screen, and changing the wallpaper also "fixes" it. It's a dynamic wallpaper provided by oneplus, any idea why it doesn't display properly with the launcher changed?
PS: After some further testing, this seems to show up on any dynamic wallpaper of any source, I tested it against the remainder of the stock ones and made a few with wallpaper engine, all suffer from this bug
If this is the same issue I am having, then I think it is related to the shadow effect behind the status bar. I use amoled black wallpapers, and this white translucent bar is especially noticeable if the top of the screen is pitch black. If my hunch is correct and it's a shadow effect, some sort of toggle to disable it would fix the issue.
Can we get an option to turn off that white background for the status bar? It's gone when the status bar is off and something like nova launcher doesn't have it. Would really appreciate it since it's troublesome on my device.
