Feature request for global search

I've set swipe down gesture as a shortcut to open global search.

There are two issues though: 1.The openning effect can be improved, i swipe down but the app drawer is rendered from bottom up.

2.For global seach it's not necessary to load the entire app drawer. Please show recent/most used apps only.
