sorry one more issue
i cant seem to install any packages it says unable to fetch some archives. what should i do
After running "apt-get update" it says

They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Seems like you're missing DNS server entries. Try running
echo "nameserver 8.8.8.8" > /etc/resolv.conf
inside of the bootstrapped ubuntu.
