[41.3] AMD 6600 Cards taking no OC settings Whatever applied [eth]
1 hour before maintenance schedule of Hiveos, my AMD 6600 cards went from 29 Mhs @ 57 watts to 26 Mhs 90 watts automatically, tried changing Overclock settings but no matter what value i put in OC settings, it doesn't having any changes. Even if i put higher Cclocks or memory clock or undervolts whatever i put it doesn't have any reflections.
After messing with OC, i get my one card 26 Mhs @ 53 Watts but another one still at 26 Mhs 90 watts with same settings.
version list: Hiveos: 0.6-217@220510-2 Miner: NBMiner 41.3 Amd Driver: 20.40 (5.11.1001)
If you have a Overclock profile, I would delete it and re-create it.
Overclock reverting, clearing or applying was not working at all. Then i revert back hive os to 0.6-212 and now everything is working fine. Got 29 Mhs @ 57 watts back.
Thanks for the suggestion @pdieppa

I see you have a good overclock settings there. Can you tell me how do you OC AMD manually to achieve such a good wattage drop.
Not all cards are the same, but these numbers are a good start for ETH. Just use the numbers in the screenshot for your cards.

Already used that when i show that screenshot, Now I'm getting 29 mhs @42 watts thats quite effective.
What i want to know is in hive os minimum value range showing for voltages are higher than yours one.
For ex: Memory voltage range showing in hive is (1250-1350) and yours set is around (1050-1100), which is lower than the minimum.
And fun fact is Hiveos accepting it without any problem. 😂😂
Those default values are not based on the 6600 cards. They are based on a 5700XT
Here is my other 6600 rig

Interesting. I'm running an older version but do not want to try to upgrade since HiveOs has been extremely slow lately. It took me 7 hours to download two images from them. I gave up.

Added 780 in SoC VDDmax and my wattage dropped to 39 from 42 without hashrate loss.
Here's the result:
