I had same error too.

I had the same problem (solved!). Antivirus (dr.web) has blocked NBminer, although the miner was in exceptions list. I solved this problem only after deleting the antivirus. Try to do it too. Another way is reinstall Windows.

I'm not a developer, but this actions helped me and many other people. If it doesn't work, try to reinstall windows. It must help

Wow, interesting, congratulations :) One day I got this problem on all versions of NBMiner (since 39.2 to 41.0).
