icons lost on reboot (not every time)

I'm experiencing a loss of icons after reboot when using the KISS launcher. It's not every time. I'm using the Articons Material You icon pack. If I go I to the KISS launcher settings and toggle the icons to default and back to the Articons, the icons come back.
