Separate exclude apps from KISS and from Favorites
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Not a problem
Describe the solution you'd like At the moment if one "excludes an app from Kiss" that same app won't show anymore on the favourites bar. I think that doesn't make sense since if an app is already in the favourites bar then maybe the user doesn't want it ALSO to be shown in the apps list, as it's a bit redundant imo

Is an option to remove favorites from the result list a fix for your request?
Hello TBog, thanks for your reply. If by "the results list" you mean the search results (or history for that matter) it's not what I mean. I mean to be able to 'hide' an app from the apps list (by default shown by swiping left or long touch) but still have it shown in the favourites bar. Atm even if the app is marked as a favourite, if one "excludes it from KISS" (ie. The apps list) it disappears from the favourites bar.
The way I see it, it's very useful to have different places for different apps, like some in the favourites bar (the most used) and some (less used) in the apps list. But not having an app repeated in both places makes less clutter and 'easier/faster' to find other apps (since there's less in the list).
@illustribe Have you checked favorite settings before? Sounds like these are for controlling exactly the behaviour you want:
KISS settings > Favorites settings > Exclude favorites from apps listKISS settings > Favorites settings > Exclude favorites from history
Hello marunjar, those settings are not solving it. The first one ("exclude favourites from apps list") should do, but it's not only excluding them from the apps list screen (ie. When long tap gesture by default), but also in the search results (ie. While typing for a search). The second one (exclude from history) is not for what I was refering to (apps list).
Sorry for having closed the issue but for a moment I thought @marunjar had given the solution until I tried it afterwards 🙏
@illustribe you never mentioned search before but wouldn't it be redundant again if app is shown in search result and as favorite at same time?
By default an app is not visible through search anymore if it is removed/hidden from KISS or if mentioned favorite setting is enabled. However, there is also an option for search to access excluded apps when searching for them, but this is ignoring favorites.
Not sure if Show excluded apps in search should respect any apps excluded, also if they are excluded because of favorite settings.
Hello @marunjar I understand your point. But the thing is the way I have my settings, I can only see my favourites if I tap on KISS' icon on the bottom left, otherwise I don't access it very often. Instead I mostly only swipe up to display the keyboard and start a search, which in MANY cases I search for one of the favourites. The way things work now I don't get to see them in my results if they're excluded from the apps list. So I'm forced to not exclude them. But then if I open the apps list (tapping on the KISS' icon) I get to see them twice, in the favourites bar AND in the apps list. My point is that that is redundant. I'd have my settings showing the favourites when making a search (swipe up to display keyboard) and then I wouldn't open this issue, but that's not an option --yet-- and I've already opened another issue suggesting that. 🙏
