On search screen Home button doesn't bring me to Home

Describe the bug When I click on the search bar to start a search, and the keyboard opens (plus the history as I've set my settings), if I decide not to go ahead with the search and want to go back to the home screen of the phone, when I click on the home button of the android navigation at the bottom, it just closes the keyboard but the history remains open hence I'm still not at the home (and can't swipe or do anything I would there) so I have to click once again the home button (or back button also works) to finally go back home. IMO only one tap of the home button should be enough.

To Reproduce

1. Click on search bar
2. Click on android's home navigation button
3. Keyboard closes but history stays open, didn't go back home

Expected behavior Once I click on the home button I expect to be back home
